Background

GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK) is a British pharmaceutical company headquartered in Brentford, London. Established in 2000 by a merger of Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham; as of 2015 GSK was one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Working with BES Ltd, appointed main contractor for the initial phase of works, MIDDAS were the GSK preferred choice of supplier after an intensive selection process.

Brief

A requirement for a fully-flush, bi-panel, high performance wall system with integrated windows, door sets and bespoke features. Walk-on ceilings with options for factory formed service apertures to reduce on-site time.

Solution

MIDDAS were able to provide our M100 bi-panel, cleanroom wall and M-WOC walk-on ceiling to meet all requirements for the project. Offering flush glazing, door sets and column casings to cater for the various details within the wall layout and with the design flexibility of our M100 & M-WOC systems, we were able to find solutions to all the engineering challenges.
