Fire performance partitions | MIDDAS Demountable, steel partitioning systems Demountable Partitioning Solutions - MIDDAS partitioning UK

Its go good when you see a project from initial sketches and basic outlines to the facility nearing completion. Scale is lost on a drawing and it’s only when you walk through a project you appreciate the full scope and how those details really work.

The MIDDAS framework negated the need for secondary steel work, with all services being distributed from the MIDDAS free standing structure.

Chelsea Football Club, our latest customer, needed a fully demountable fire rated partition system to create safe access routes at their Stamford Bridge stadium. The MIDDAS M100 wall system was selected as it has been independently fire tested as a complete system with doors and vison panels.

Chelsea FC needed a system that facilitated the reconfiguration of their corporate hospitality space in order maximise use outside of match days.  The MIDDAS M100 is fully demountable and each component is numbered for easy re-assembly and re-installation.

Having just recently installed a 6m high fire rated wall for a leading Formula 1 team, it’s great to add a premiership football team to our ever expanding and completely diverse client base.

On the back on an excellent project in India for TATA Motors, MIDDAS are now exporting more and more projects to international regions. A key success factor is MIDDAS’ approach to modularisation which ensures all interfaces are factory prepared and the solution is simply installed from a-kit-of-parts, no construction just assembly on site.

A very topical update in light of today’s news that fire doors from five manufacturers have been withdrawn from the market after failing post-Grenfell safety tests.

With fire safety absolutely central to all of MIDDAS’ product offering it’s fair to say we were incredibly sensitive not to jump on the post-Grenfell outcry

We can’t believe how quickly time goes and the positive follow ups we’ve had since opening the doors of our new office/showroom during the recent Clerkenwell Design Week.

MIDDAS are now being considered for specialist office fit out projects where fire rating, demountability and height are key drivers, alongside our traditional cleanroom, healthcare and industrial projects.

It’s great to see the MIDDAS structural frame work supporting the distributed services for the new Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust CSSD facility.

MIDDAS have developed the proven M100 wall system to include structural beams offering free-standing facilities for offices through to complex cleanrooms, laboratories and advanced manufacturing facilities.

We’re really pleased to see MIDDAS steel partitions and door sets in a commercial interior. More and more of our systems are being installed in non-cleanroom environments, including offices, factories, data centres, universities and hospitals.

The MIDDAS freestanding hygienic partitions with fully integrated Dortek doors project is nearing completion.

We have created a barrier to provide people and product segregation with a series of interlocked transfer zones and controlled access ways, which is easily cleaned and maintained (flush finishes with minimum ledges).

MIDDAS offsite manufacture has more than programme benefits.

The advantage of offsite manufacture can be seen by the speed the MIDDAS structural frame has been installed. All components arrive at site, clearly identified and ready to install. We even punch all fixing holes which makes installation a simple assembly process, significantly reducing site construction activity.

The MIDDAS M65 mono block wall system and door sets have been selected for the new MOSFET facility for Diodes Zetex Semiconductors in Oldham.

The MIDDAS wall systems offer a modular solution for the cleanrooms with pre formed corners, column casing and return air ducts. All wall panels are manufactured to size in our UK factory, ready to install with head and floor tracks. This modular approach significantly reduces site construction activity and offers a build clean solution which is key in any Semi facility.

Another good week at MIDDAS – we’ve just started a new project at GSK Barnard Castle.  Not a cleanroom, but half-glazed freestanding partitions to manage both people and product flow around a process line.

A key feature of the MIDDAS solution is the integration of Dortek doors, again not standard solutions.  MIDDAS and Dortek have worked closely with the GSK team and Interserve to optimise space and functionality of the area.

The new scheme includes the latest Dortek horizontal rapid roller doors, telescopic sliding doors as well as standard hinged arrangements.

MIDDAS have recently completed the installation of fire rated flush glazed walls and fire rated automated door sets, within a flag ship building at the University of Birmingham.

The MIDDAS triple glazed M100 system offers 30 minute fire rating and excellent acoustic performance.

Precision Cleanrooms have recently selected and installed MIDDAS wall panels, flush glazed screens and door sets for a prestigious cleanroom build in Ireland.

MIDDAS manufactured the M65 panels to size ready for installation, significantly reducing site construction activity.

At MIDDAS we are now supplying our fire rated, flush glazed walls and vision panels for installation into masonry and stud & plaster walls, as well as 3rd party Cold Room panels.

‘Made in Britain’ – as a primary UK manufacturer we offer a wide range of sizes in both 30 minute and 60 minute
