Cleanroom | MIDDAS Demountable, steel partitioning systems Demountable Partitioning Solutions - MIDDAS partitioning UK

MIDDAS have been awarded a new project from KCC Basildon Chemicals, a UK based specialist manufacturer and formulator of silicone emulsions and compounds. The Company is focused on the consumer markets of personal care, pharmaceutical and food, as well as supplying certain niche industrial markets such as silicones for coatings, car care and agrochemicals.

MIDDAS product development has been rewarded with a major new project win for a confidential client processing semiconductors.

The proven M100 partition system is now offered as a single sided side post and panel system with aluminium core, which has been specifically developed for the semiconductor market.

Its go good when you see a project from initial sketches and basic outlines to the facility nearing completion. Scale is lost on a drawing and it’s only when you walk through a project you appreciate the full scope and how those details really work.

The MIDDAS framework negated the need for secondary steel work, with all services being distributed from the MIDDAS free standing structure.

A very topical update in light of today’s news that fire doors from five manufacturers have been withdrawn from the market after failing post-Grenfell safety tests.

With fire safety absolutely central to all of MIDDAS’ product offering it’s fair to say we were incredibly sensitive not to jump on the post-Grenfell outcry

It’s great to see the MIDDAS structural frame work supporting the distributed services for the new Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust CSSD facility.

MIDDAS have developed the proven M100 wall system to include structural beams offering free-standing facilities for offices through to complex cleanrooms, laboratories and advanced manufacturing facilities.

The MIDDAS freestanding hygienic partitions with fully integrated Dortek doors project is nearing completion.

We have created a barrier to provide people and product segregation with a series of interlocked transfer zones and controlled access ways, which is easily cleaned and maintained (flush finishes with minimum ledges).

MIDDAS offsite manufacture has more than programme benefits.

The advantage of offsite manufacture can be seen by the speed the MIDDAS structural frame has been installed. All components arrive at site, clearly identified and ready to install. We even punch all fixing holes which makes installation a simple assembly process, significantly reducing site construction activity.

Another good week at MIDDAS – we’ve just started a new project at GSK Barnard Castle.  Not a cleanroom, but half-glazed freestanding partitions to manage both people and product flow around a process line.

A key feature of the MIDDAS solution is the integration of Dortek doors, again not standard solutions.  MIDDAS and Dortek have worked closely with the GSK team and Interserve to optimise space and functionality of the area.

The new scheme includes the latest Dortek horizontal rapid roller doors, telescopic sliding doors as well as standard hinged arrangements.

Precision Cleanrooms have recently selected and installed MIDDAS wall panels, flush glazed screens and door sets for a prestigious cleanroom build in Ireland.

MIDDAS manufactured the M65 panels to size ready for installation, significantly reducing site construction activity.

At MIDDAS we are now supplying our fire rated, flush glazed walls and vision panels for installation into masonry and stud & plaster walls, as well as 3rd party Cold Room panels.

‘Made in Britain’ – as a primary UK manufacturer we offer a wide range of sizes in both 30 minute and 60 minute

A significant new project win places MIDDAS firmly in the Healthcare Sector and was won against traditional construction methods!

MIDDAS has been selected by cfes Limited to design and deliver the architectural envelope for a new Off-Site CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) for the Royal Free London NHS Trust, a new high-tech, centralised facility for Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.  Our scope includes all the walls, doors and ceiling systems and will show case MIDDAS’ industry leading, modular, off-site construction capabilities; whilst meeting the highest healthcare standards.

The finishing details of any facility are key to its performance and appearance.

Having seen many facilities where the interface between the wall system and flooring is ad hoc and often hidden with a cover strip that introduces ledges and broken surfaces; MIDDAS have developed an innovative recessed base detail

In 2014 MIDDAS successfully completed the Pharma Suite extension at Fisherman’s Friend in Fleetwood, supplying our newly developed M100 bi-panel, cleanroom partition system to JVX Projects Ltd.

Having demonstrated the superior quality of both our products and service over the previous providers of cleanroom partition products to the site, JVX have again appointed MIDDAS to supply our systems

MIDDAS Interior Solutions are pleased to announce that we have successfully secured the laboratory package for Smith & Nephew as part of the redevelopment works at their Advanced Wound Care facility. The MIDDAS M100 system was selected for its fully-flush finish with integrated door sets and flush bonded glazing, providing the ideal working envelope and controlled environment for their requirements.

We will be working with Bouygues E&S providing our M100 system and MCT metal clip-in ceiling for the project, which is due for completion in November ’15.

This is yet another project for MIDDAS working with the Bouygues

MIDDAS Interior Solutions are pleased to announce that we have successfully secured the partition, ceiling and door package for the new Filling Line development works as part of a multi million pound, multi-site expansion project for a world-leading pharmaceutical company in Ware, Hertfordshire. After an extensive and thorough procurement process, the MIDDAS M100 bi-panel system has been specified for future works because of its design flexibility, performance specification and quality.

This is yet another project for MIDDAS working with a world-leading brand, creating design solutions, adding value and delivering prestigious projects. For further information on our involvement with this project please email: info@middas.co.uk
